Caregiver Support

"Finding the Rewards in Caregiving"
will be the focus topic for the next meeting of The Christian Companion Support Group on Wednesday, February 15, from 12:30-2:00 p.m. in Room 204.
The purpose of The Christian Companion Support Group is to provide a confidential setting in which persons who provide short- or long-term physical care for a parent, spouse, child, sibling, or close friend in either a local or long-distance situation may both give and receive support and information that enables the care givers to place a priority on maintaining their own personal emotional, physical, and spiritual health in order to provide the best possible care to their care receivers. The group is open to all family caregivers and is facilitated by Kate and Dale Allen, who are trained and experienced family caregivers.
