Trustees

Duties of Trustees - The Trustees have several legal and administrative functions.

They are to:

• Oversee, maintain, and supervise all local church property. This would include conducting an annual inspection and inventory of the church property.

• Report annually to the Charge Conference on the state of the church's property, equipment, investments, and resources.

• Ensure that the articles of incorporation of the congregation are kept up-to-date, if applicable.

• Be responsible, in conjunction with the pastor, for all use of the church buildings and grounds.

• Maintain adequate insurance coverage on all church property and develop appropriate risk management policies.

• Submit to the Finance Committee the annual budget requests for insurance, property maintenance and improvement, and new property purchases.

• Be accountable to Charge Conference and the Church Council.

Meeting Time - The Trustees meet on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm.

• Playground Renovation

• Replacement of one of four furnaces at Trinity

Future Capital Projects

• Room 208 Renovation – Install a double-door entrance from the hall to provide access to space for storing tables and chairs.
• Fellowship Hall Wainscot – sand and refinish
• Sanctuary Wall Painting – will include spot-repair of walls prior to painting
• Sanctuary West Facing Windows – inspect and repair joints in the stone window surrounds
• Kitchen Stove Hood and Fire Suppression – Working with contractors to clarify the work to be done and to obtain quotes from each.

• Gardens – Becky Gabbard has taken the lead in coordinating the care and maintenance of the flower beds, shrubs and trees around the church. Bob and Maxine Shultz will continue to assist in the effort. Also, Pat Wilson will continue to care for the memorial garden.
