Sunday Morning GATHERINGS

Join us each Sunday morning from 10:00-10:45AM for our Sunday Morning Gatherings. Due to more interested in mat making than Bible Study, we have combined into one class in the Loft to complete our Homeless Mat Project. Each student in encouraged to make at least one mat. If you have no mat-making skills, we always need folks to prepare the bags used for the mats.

  • Homeless Sleeping Mat Making Class (Loft). This class will be learning how to make sleeping mats from plastic grocery bags. Absolutely no sewing or specific skills are needed - anyone can learn to do it. The early weeks will be about learning to make the mats. There will also be periodic speakers and discussions about homelessness and other poverty related issues.
  • Rev. Mark Flynn will lead various discussions in room 204 beginning April 15.
