Confused by changing dietary recommendations? Wonder why daily allowance of sugar is not listed on foods? Concerned about the science and politics of food use? Join us for a conference on March 5 from 9 am until noon regarding the stewardship of food: “Food for Thought.” The program will include excerpts from the documentary, “Fed Up,” a discussion of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) by Tessa Burch Smith of the UTK Faculty, and a presentation regarding the ethics of food by Emeritus Philosophy Professor, Glenn Graber, of UT.
