Our Funding

We are committed to keeping Keystone Adult Day Program an affordable care option for families. We have reasonable private pay rates, as well as some alternative funding from scholarships and government sources. Please talk to us about your unique situation. We consider each need on a case-by-case basis.

Keystone is supported by a number of sources.

First, we share the non-profit 501 (c)(3) tax designation with First United Methodist Church (FUMC). Although FUMC does not provide any monetary support, they do not charge Keystone for rent, utilities, financial services or custodial services allowing Keystone to keep its costs competitive to the consumer. The services provided are funded by participant fees, grants, fundraising activities, and donations of money, services and goods.

Grants:
Keystone receives a few community grants such as The United Way of Anderson County and the Sunrise Foundation of Knoxville.

Jim and Renate Turner Memorial Scholarship Fund :

The Jim and Renate Turner Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to allow Keystone to offer our services to families who are unable to pay the participant fees. Donations to this fund are always appreciated. Please inquiry about other available financial scholarships in the area. Click here to download a brochure.

Fundraising:
Throughout the year, events are scheduled to raise funds for the program. The Annual Cookie Sale in November is Keystone’s biggest fundraiser. Caregivers will receive this information in the monthly newsletter Keynotes.

Items for Sale:   Notecards featuring Betty Robinson’s art work are available. A pack of 5 note cards is $5.00.

Kroger Cards are also available for sale in the office. Keystone receives 5% of your purchase if you buy your gift cards from Keystone in advance. $50 and $100 Kroger cards are available and you get $50 or $100 in groceries when you shop at Kroger.

Donations:
All monetary donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent provided by law. Memorials are accepted. The gifts are acknowledged to the family of the deceased and to the donor.

Honorariums are also welcomed.

A "Wish List" of items needed at Keystone is available and is published in Keynotes. Of course, gifts of wet wipes, snacks, etc., are greatly appreciated.

If you ever decide to ask for gifts or memorials to benefit Keystone Adult Day Program, please be aware that we are not part of the Alzheimer’s Association and will not receive any gifts sent to them. Also, they do not fund Keystone in any way.
