First UMC realizes that safe, reliable childcare is the key to families being able to participate in church ministries. That's why we provide childcare for meetings, services and other church events in a safe, nurturing, Christian environment for young children.
Our adult childcare staff are CPR certified. Our teenage helpers work only in a room with an adult. We are a Safe Sanctuaries congregation and are happy to provide you with a copy of our Child Protection Policy upon request.

To Request Childcare
First UMC can provide childcare for any church sponsored on-campus meeting, event, or program with prior planning. Request childcare for your next gathering by emailing Director of Children & Family Ministries, Megan Alden. Requests must be made at least one week prior to event. You will receive confirmation regarding your request. When making requests, please remember that childcare is not provided more than 4 hours at a time. Additional costs to your program may apply if events are scheduled outside of regular hours.
