ADFAC School Supply Program

Updated: Dec 2, 2019

First UMC will collect school supplies each Sunday in August to be delivered to the ADFAC school supplies program to support children in our area. Please donate new school supplies by placing them in the collection boxes that will be located in the Fellowship Hall. For drop off during the week, please come in through the main office door and look for the basket by Chris’ office labeled “ADFAC”. You can also make a monetary donation. A $50 gift provides a backpack and supplies for one student. Please make checks to FUMC (memo: ADFAC school supplies) and place in a collection plate or send to the FUMC office. Complete lists for all school levels are on the Mission bulletin board near the main office and on the collection boxes.

Supplies needed for students throughout the year are: backpacks, composition books, folders, construction paper, notebook paper (wide), Crayola brand crayons (24 ct), Magic markers, pencil boxes/pouches, sharpeners, pencils, Elmer’s glue sticks, spiral notebooks, erasers (rectangular or pencil top), sticky notes, Fiskars scissors (5” or 7”), three-ring binders (1” or 2”).
