Hopes & Fears Conversation

For many of us in the United Methodist Church, it has been a difficult year. Discussions about a possible split in the denomination are on hold, but that tension (and questions about FUMCOR’s future) remains. Many of us, both long-time members or short-time visitors, love this church dearly. The idea that things might change in the future can be both exciting and troubling, depending on our point of view. Your pastoral staff is always available for anyone who wants to talk one-on-one about your anxieties and/or dreams for our congregation. However, it can also be valuable to hear other’s dreams and concerns. Therefore Mark, Chris and Jenny will host an August 26 gathering called ‘Hopes and Fears for our Congregation.’ Come, join us at 6 pm in the Fellowship Hall so we can share our thoughts and feelings with one another about what lies ahead for our congregation.
