Unmasking Feminism in Christian Theology Class

Beginning Tuesday evening, January 26, Seth O'Kegley will lead a four-week Zoom class entitled Unmasking Feminism in Christian Theology. This class will explore a few of the foundations of classical Christian theology and address how these doctrines can be reclaimed for the empowerment of women using feminist theory. Two books will be used as source material Feminist Theory and Christian Theology by Dr. Serene Jones, and Goddess and God in the World, by Dr. Carol P. Christ and Dr. Judith Plaskow. Reading these texts is not a requirement to participate. If interested, contact Seth (sokegley@fumcor.org) or watch for more information in future publications.
